Competition-Leading Dynamic Music
Interactive music is my passion. Creating a track that responds dynamically to changes in a scene is one of my areas of specialty, and a skillset that has won me music competitions!
Take for example the track in the video on the right, composed and produced for the November 2024 Plogue Chipsynth Competition hosted by the Calgary Game Developers Association (CGDA) running directly in FMOD Studio. This relatively simple two-track song, which won the competition, features a low intensity layer for when the player is out of combat and exploring, and a high intensity layer for when they find themselves in danger, with a clean fade between the two mediated by a 'Tension' parameter.
